The Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) is a comprehensive index that reflects the microeconomic and macroeconomic foundations of national competitiveness. Competitiveness is a set of systems, policies and factors that determine a country's level of productivity.
The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) research project is an annual assessment of the level of entrepreneurial activity in many countries. Currently, the study calculates participation in 115 countries, with longitudinal data for more than 20 years. The continuous expansion of its collaboration has made GEM data an effective tool for influencing national economic policies and a high-quality resource relied on by international organizations such as the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, the World Bank, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation.
