Inclusive Entrepreneurship

Inclusive entrepreneurship refers to a set of attitudes, skills, and abilities that enable people to turn their dreams into tangible projects or “businesses” and then achieve those goals. It is not limited to starting a personal business. Inclusive entrepreneurship can be used to self-employment, to start and grow micro or small businesses, and to social enterprises that use a business approach driven by a social mission. In essence, the personal qualities required to start a business are essential to success in the knowledge economy – in both private and public sectors.

The use of the term “inclusive” reflects the belief that entrepreneurship is for everyone, and that the  qualities and skills required for entrepreneurship are not the preserve of a few highly educated individuals. In fact, millions of people around the world make difficult decisions, manage risks, find  innovative solutions, and collaborate with others  to survive each day. However, the obstacles and problems they face when trying to make the jump from survival to long-term stability are  greater than those trying to start a new company on a paid basis bag.

Inclusive entrepreneurship is about supporting entrepreneurs from all backgrounds by creating a  level playing field. This includes understanding and  overcoming the problems faced by different people in different places. It's about unlocking the creative potential in people  and using it to create a better life for all of us.
