Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists possess extensive knowledge in the field of movement science. They provide a form of healthcare known as physiotherapy, which aims to assist individuals in recovering, maintaining, and enhancing their strength, function, mobility, and overall well-being. The terms "physiotherapy" and "physical therapy," as well as "physiotherapist" and "physical therapist," are used interchangeably to refer to the same thing. Physiotherapists utilize their in-depth understanding of how the body functions and their specialized hands-on clinical skills to analyze, diagnose, and treat symptoms of illness, injury, and disability. Their scope of practice includes rehabilitation, injury prevention, and promoting health and fitness. In order to meet the diverse healthcare needs of individuals, physiotherapists often collaborate with other healthcare professionals. These professionals are highly trained and regulated, providing physiotherapy services. Unlike focusing solely on specific areas affected by injury or illness, physiotherapists take a holistic approach by considering the entire body. Working closely with patients, physiotherapists develop personalized programs aimed at restoring their functional capacity and mobility to the greatest extent possible.
