Frank Hui received his MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1998. He then joined the immunology research group of Dr. Akira Takashima in the Dermatology Department of the same institution. Since 2003, he has been part of the Custom Manufacturing Department of Asuragen, a Bio-techne brand developing molecular controls and related molecular kits.
Currently, the continuing development of the Armored RNA-related and RNA Retain technology for the Bio-Techne company as well as its advancement for clearance for higher regulatory use. Previous experience includes in vivo and molecular studies in the upregulation of factors involved in allergen response and the maturation of dendritic cells in the immune response. Also, extensive studies to establish molecular and mechanical mechanisms involved in the development of osteoarthritis.
