Optometry
Optometry is a health-care profession that focuses on checking the eyes for vision problems and diagnosing and treating them. Optometrists are professionals who help people with their eyesight, eye health, and overall wellness. They are trained to diagnose, treat, and rectify problems and diseases of the visual system, the eye, and the tissues that surround it. In a tertiary eye care hospital, optometrists also work as vision science researchers. Optometry is a tremendous tool for making a difference in people's lives.
